The Long Bay Club opened in 1998 and is designed by famed golfer Jack Nicklaus. Long Bay Club consistently ranks among the top courses in South Carolina. In 2006, Long Bay Club was awarded 4 1/2 stars by Golf Digest's "Places to Play." Large man made mounds are well placed along with difficult waste areas and bunkers to make this one of the more difficult courses along the Grand Strand.
