Perfect Remote Workspace

"This house was the perfect location to work remotely for a week. The room with the desk setup was decorated tastefully for Zoom/video calls, and there were enough plugs for all of my devices. In addition, minimal background noise was key for any recording needed. I was able to enjoy my time in the heated saltwater pool after my work day was done. I wish I could rent this more often, because it beat any hotel or airbnb I’ve been in! To top it off, it’s within walking distance of the beach, coffee shops and the grocery store. "

Mrs Roper’s relaxing vacation

"Some friends & I had a relaxing vacation. The property was perfectly suited for my Mrs Roper / Golden girls style vacation—floating in the pool, sitting poolside in a kaftan reading books, dining out, & laughing hysterically over games, cards, & puzzles in the evening. Positives * Super clean house, comfortable beds, spacious bathrooms, living room & kitchen. You can easily put 8-10 people around the banquet size table plus 3-4 more people around the kitchen bar. * Balconies—almost one for everyone. Morning coffee & nightcaps on the balconies made for lovely starts/end to the days. * There’s a small retention pond behind the house/pool. The reeds & bamboo in it serve as mother nature’s privacy screen. At night the back balcony & pool patio sound like a sleep machine with the frogs & such “chatting” with each other. * Saltwater pool has two benches inside it with umbrellas over them & I could spend every spare moment sitting in those pool seats reading my book. * The washer/dryer were an added bonus for freshening up towels & clothes. * The fridge down by the pool was convenient for beverages. Location * No need to rent a car. We flew into Myrtle beach international airport & took a car service to the house ($50-ish). * Everything we needed was walking distance from the house including a a couple places for meals like a diner for brunch, mini-golf, restaurants for dinner & a pizza place. * There’s even a used bookstore near the grocery store that we could pick up a puzzle and fresh reading material. * It’s about a 3 min walk to the beach & has beach wagon & chairs to use at the beach. * It’s located about 5-8 min stroll to get ice cream or walk to get beach gear or other random necessities. * The grocery store was 5-8 min walk & had everything from sunblock to quality produce & meats. It was super convenient to stock up on breakfast, lunch, & snack items. * We took a car service to dinner a couple nights to try some local recommendations. Misc info * We were there during bike week & other than 1-2x a day around dinner time we heard a couple bikes the surrounding houses were quiet & respectful. * The houses are lined up in a way that you rarely see anyone at either of the neighboring houses. * One of the downstairs bedrooms has a desk & was ideally set up for remote work. One person in our group worked from there including multiple video meetings. The rooms are quiet enough that even a couple of us in the kitchen making lunch or being down at the pool weren’t disruptive to her meetings. "

"Highly recommend this beautiful house, it’ was super clean, and handled multiple families beautifully. Each bedroom had a private bathroom and the kitchen accommodated all our needs. It is in a convenient location with an easy walk to the beach, close to restaurants and shopping. We all enjoyed the patio seating and heated pool! Can’t wait to go back!!"

Softball Spring Break

"We were in Myrtle Beach for a week of softball over Spring Break. We rented this house with 3 other families and had plenty of space. The house was very clean and beautifully decorated. Plenty of space for everyone and the driveway had room for all 4 vehicles. The pool was great and well equipped with plenty of seating by the pool and on the deck. This house had everything. The location is great! We were able to walk to the beach, restaurants, and grocery store. Not to mention a short drive to the softball fields and any store you are looking for. Would definitely stay here again! "

"The house was breathtaking! Simply gorgeous! My sisters and me , along with our spouses celebrated our first Christmas gathering without our children and grandchildren. The rooms were inviting and the view was great. We had space to stretch out and space for games also. The owners rendering of this house made it feel like being at home. We loved the fact that each bedroom had a separate bathroom. The beds were very comfortable and the entire house was clean. I would rate this house a 10 but the highest number is 5. "

"Great house for our family get together. Everyone had their private bathroom with each bedroom. Plenty of places to sit outside on the front and back decks and poolside. The pool umbrellas were nice to shade us during the day if we wanted it. I especially loved the outdoor swing, made me feel like a kid again. Easy walk to the beach. "Family get together, beautiful house, well maintained, great accessibility front and back. Big and roomy, with a spacious kitchen, very clean and comfortable, made relaxing easy. Fit was easy for us, which included 11 Adults, 1 teen, sleeping quarters were great. Awesome pool and patio, room for everyone to not feel crowded. Access to beach, grocery store and downtown was a short walk. Look forward to the next opportunity. Would be a great place to stay!"

"I can’t say enough good things about Whispering Palms. I’ve already started rallying friends for weekend getaway in the fall. The house and outdoor space were clean and had everything we needed to relax and enjoy our time together. The kitchen was large enough for us to cook together and all fit around the large table for meals. The décor was modern and comfortable. My room had an attached bathroom and balcony. It was the perfect place to sit and enjoy the evening. My favorite place was the covered patio by the pool and the umbrella covered benches in the pool. I could spend all day there reading and catching up with my sisters. "

"We stayed in Whispering Palms vacation home for a week. We have two boys ages 12 and 10. My parents, sister, brother, sister in law and nephew all stayed for a total of 7 adults and 3 children. It was the perfect size with plenty of space to spread out. The house is extremely clean and beautifully decorated making for a very relaxing stay. The exterior spaces are just as well maintained. The private pool, upper and lower decks are very relaxing and a great place to read. The pool is very spacious and private. It is about a 5 min walk to the beach and close to shops and restaurants. We would recommend this location and look forward to returning. "

"Easily had one of the best trips ever! The house was beautiful it was clean and had everything you could need in both the kitchen and in the rooms. Closets were spacious, and beds were extremely comfortable. Outdoor space is beautiful with a gorgeous outdoor pool. Fridge downstairs to make it easy to access drinks and food as well as lots of room for kids to play! Easily the best vacation I’ve had in the most gorgeous house."
