COURSE DESCRIPTION:
Sandpiper Bay opened in 1987 with the original Sand and Piper nines. The Bay course was added a little later. All three courses have excellent Mini-Verde greens. Each course has it owns characteristics that make this course especially challenging. Great club house and restaurant/lounge and friendly staff all help to make this a locals favorite course. The Sand Course is one of two original nines and feature gentle dog legs, elevated tees and greens and is cut through a natural pine forest. Also features an unusual combination of three par 3 holes and two par 5 holes. The Piper Course is one of two original nines and feature gentle dog legs, elevated tees and greens. A combination of three par 3's, three par 5's and three par 4's will give you a chance to shoot for the pins. The Bay Course has more water features than the other two courses. Very scenic with three forced carries and with strategic water hazards will make you think your way around the course.
